Twin Flames in Love

A Prayer to Jesus and Magda, from the Summit Lighthouse song book:

Dearest Jesus, we sing to thee
Our voices full with praise and thanksgiving.
And unto you we bring our hearts pure and free
Our joy of serving and living.

Fairest Magda, roses we bring
Perfumed with essence sweet and rare
The distillation of our love for you
As sweet as the incense of prayer

Twin flames of immortal splendor
Help us to realize the goal
And woo with love so tender my soul!

Blessed Jesus and Magda dear
O lead us from mortal illusion
Infuse our souls with reality
Dissolving all life and confusion.

In our sweet communion with thee
Fashion a Grail of hearts perfected
And keep Camelot in they embrace
Held fast and secure forever.

In the 1973 movie The Gospel Road, Johnny Cash is walking on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, and he says, “ I bet Mary Magdalene walked this same beach that I'm walking. I wonder what Mary Magdalene really looked like. The scriptures don't tell a lot about her. But what little is told has made her the subject of more speculation and controversy than any woman I ever heard of. Jesus was to suffer much criticism for his association with people of questionable character. He dines with publicans and sinners, they said. And to that, Jesus replied: It's the sick that need a physician, not the healthy! And this woman needed him.”

Mary Magdalene, beautifully played by June Carter Cash says, “Seven times he touched me, and every time he touched me, I felt something evil go out of me, and I am clean. I am clean! And he's gone, but I will follow him because I love him.”

Johnny Cash continues, “Mary was the kind of woman that Jesus must have had a lot of love and compassion for. A lot of love and compassion for Mary Magdalene.”

In the Gospel of Luke, we read that Jesus cast seven devils out of Mary Magdalene, one for each chakra. For almost two thousand years, Mary Magdalene has, for this reason, been associated with the woman accused of adultery.

Now from the Gospel of John: “Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them. As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd.

“Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”

They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.

Nicholas Poussin Christ and the Woman Taken in Adultery

When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman,“Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” “No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”

The most important lessons we can take away from this event are the consecration of our sexual energies on the spiritual path, the transformational power of forgiveness, and the practice of non-condemnation. Even though this narrative from John does not name the woman, many associated her with Mary Magdalene. The Gospel of the Resurrection by Bartholomew, however, lists the names of the women who went to Jesus' tomb, and separates Mary Magdalene from the woman taken in adultery. “There was Mary Magdalene and the woman to whom he said, “Thy sins which are many are forgiven thee.”

The ascended lady master Theosophia, commented on Jesus' statement in a Summit Lighthouse dictation. She said, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. Immortal words, rendering complex karmic matters wholly simple and stopping the attitude of human viciousness and condemnation.”

Theosophia was embodied as Mary of Bethany and as Mary Baker Eddy, founder of Christian Science, and the author of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. She learned the art of healing from Jesus himself. Archangel Gabriel said in a dictation through the Summit Lighthouse that Mary and Martha received direct training from Jesus in the laws of healing, and that he gave them the understanding that in order to heal, one must be able to control and command the molecules of matter and the molecules of self.

At one point, her sister Martha complained to Jesus that instead of helping prepare the house and meals for the disciples, she was spending too much time with Jesus. What is most profound, as the karmic cycles unfold, is that Elizabeth Clare Prophet, who was the reincarnation of Martha, became an avid student of Christian Science before finding Mark Prophet and the teachings of the ascended masters.

From the Gospel of Luke: As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”

“Martha, Martha,”the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”Jesus was teaching Martha to value his presence with them above all else, and set aside the mundane for the sacred. Jesus made a similar statement, when some of the disciples rebuked Martha and Mary Magdalene for spending money on oil to anoint him. He reminded them that their time with him was priceless.

Mary anoints Jesus' head by Baron Marochetti

Jesus, as an ascended master, confirmed to Elizabeth Clare Prophet that Mary Magdalene was the one who anointed his feet in the house of Simon the Leper in Bethany two days before the Passover and the crucifixion. Prophet wrote down his statement in one of the notes of a Pearl of Wisdom. Sanat Kumara also confirmed, in one of the Pearls included in his book On the Ruby Ray, that Martha anointed Jesus' head. Speaking of the initiations of the crucifixion, the resurrection and the ascension, he said, “In the life of Jesus Christ, these begin with his prediction to his disciples of his crucifixion, followed by the anointing of his head (crown chakra) by Mary of Bethany for the three initiations which are to follow.”

These anointings followed each other, and were from the same oil. It is interesting to note that in the Bridge to Freedom dictations describing the relationships between the apostles after the resurrection, Mary Magdalene liked perfume, which annoyed Peter. Perfumes in those days were essential oils. So Mary Magdalene anointed Jesus' feet with the oil of spikenard that she had purchased, as recorded in the gospel of John, and Mary of Bethany anointed Jesus' head with the oil of spikenard, as recorded in the gospels of Matthew and Mark.. The oil may even have come from his birth rituals, preserved by the pharmacist mentioned in the First Gospel of the Infancy of Jesus Christ.

These anointings took place in the home of Simon the Pharisee, who had been healed by Jesus of leprosy, and may have been the father of Martha, Lazarus and Mary of Bethany. From the Gospel of Matthew: “While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table. When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked.“This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.”

Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

The Gospel of John writes: Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. Here a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him. Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. John explains that Judas was the one who harshly rebuked Mary. “He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.”

Mary Washes Jesus' Feet by Peter Paul Rubens

The Gospel of Luke adds that Mary was standing behind Jesus at his feet, weeping. Luke may have attributed Mary Magdalene's tears to her deep contrition as a sinner, but I believe that Mary, in her soul awareness and perhaps in her outer awareness, knew on some level, what was going to happen to Jesus.

The Gospel of Luke tells us that when the Pharisee who had invited Jesus saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner.” And Jesus answering said to him,“Simon, I have something to say to you.”And he answered, “Say it, Teacher.”

“A certain moneylender had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they could not pay, he canceled the debt of both. Now which of them will love him more?”Simon answered, “The one, I suppose, for whom he canceled the larger debt.” And Jesus said to him,“You have judged rightly.”

Then turning toward Mary, he said to Simon,“Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not ceased to kiss my feet. You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.”

And then Jesus said to Mary, “Your sins are forgiven.” Then those who were at table with him began to say among themselves,“Who is this, who even forgives sins?”And Jesus said Mary,“Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Mary Magdalene had one of the deepest spiritual relationships with Jesus. The ascended master teachings tell us that Mary Magdalene was in fact Jesus' twin flame, his spiritual “other half,” so to speak. Twin flames are twin souls created in God as the spiritual energies of Alpha and Omega descend into form. There is no greater love in the universe than the love of twin flames. This love anchors the complementary positive and negative polarity of the whirling Tai Chi of Alpha and Omega.

Twin flames are united in love at the deepest soul level through all of their incarnations, even if one ascends back to God before the other. Twin flames share the same divine blueprint, like a unique spiritual fingerprint of God. Jesus spoke of the sacred connection of the twain merging into wholeness, in a dictation through The Summit Lighthouse: “Each time the twain serve together,” he said, “there is a unique fusion of the light of Alpha and Omega—the Father/Mother God, the original twin flames out of whose image Elohim have created ye all.”

Mary Magdalene's soul would have been aware of Jesus' impending trial and crucifixion, and why she wept. Even though the scriptures say the disciples did not understand what Jesus was talking about when he announced that he was to be buried, Mary, on some level, did and went forth to anoint him with all of her love: “And then she began to wet Jesus' feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment.”

In a dictation through the Summit Lighthouse, Magda—the ascended name of Mary Magdalene—said: “God has called me to speak to you this day concerning his Word to me and to so many—the precious words, “Thy sins be forgiven thee.”I would like you to understand the meaning of these words, for they imply the presence of an ascended master or an unascended master, an anointed one called the Christ.

“When Christ sent forth the Word, “Thy sins be forgiven thee,” it was the command issued by the authority of his God Presence and his Christ Self to the Lords of Karma, to the hosts and the Elohim for the transfer of a burden of karma or a burden of sin to be made from the individual to himself.

Mary Magdalene and the Holy Grail at Calvary

“For you see, all energy in the cosmos must be accounted for. And therefore in order to forgive a sin that represents a debt to life that has not been balanced, one has need to find a master who will carry the weight of that debt and that sin until the individual is able to balance it for himself. In many instances Jesus healed without saying the words, “Thy sins be forgiven thee,” for in that instance the individual had earned by previous service the transmutation of that energy and the transfer of a coil of light from the Master.”

Mary Magdalene's forgiveness is transferable to those who love Jesus and would follow the footprints of Christ. In a dictation published by the Summit Lighthouse, Jesus said, “Even as I cast out seven devils from Magda, so I come to cast out seven devils from you this day! I say: Ye devils, your day is done! Therefore, flee! Why do you flee when you hear my footstep and my voice? You flee because you know your day is done. Be gone, for my angels await you! They form rings around this place. You shall not escape and go out of these bodies and inhabit other bodies!

“I come for the cleansing. And when I come, beloved, be prepared for the descent of sacred fire. And to those who have waited in lamentation for years and incarnations to receive this blessing of wholeness—to you I say, I love you with the perfection of my perfected heart.

“Out of the original etheric blueprint of Adam Kadmon you were made—made in the image and likeness of God. There may be other evolutions and other creations, beloved, but it is the sons and daughters of God who have the Mighty I AM Presence, who have the Christ with them always and who have the sacred fire rising—rising from the base of the spine to the crown chakra out of the white fire, Malkhut/Shekhinah.”

What becomes clear is that Mary took on the role of the fallen feminine forgiven by Christ. The forgiveness of Mary Magdalene is also the forgiveness of Eve. When we study the apocryphal gospels—the Gospel of Philip, the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, and Pistis Sophia—a new portrait of Mary Magdalene emerges. She is a wise, compassionate and beloved female disciple, most responsive to Jesus' teachings and most loving and patient towards the other disciples. The roles that Mary and Jesus play out in these gospels archetypally represent the soul and the Holy Christ Self—her divine Bridegroom.

The soul is all of us has fallen from our first estate suspended in divine grace. By way of the soul, we are invited to return to our God self through the alchemy of repentance washed clean by divine forgiveness, which is the remission of sins. This is the promise we find Isaiah: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” This is also the journey of “First Begettress Sophia” that the “Only Begotten Son” came to save.

In a dictation published by the Summit Lighthouse, Jesus asked for the world to forgive woman of her sin and of the adultery of which Magda had been accused. He did not say she had committed the adultery, simply that she was accused of it.

In a dictation published by The Summit Lighthouse, the master El Morya tells us: “Never for the fraction of a second allow your precious minds or hearts to entertain any notion whatsoever that the ascended masters ever scold you; are ever displeased with, disappointed in or disapproving of you, individually or collectively! No ascended master possibly could create, entertain or express such feelings. We never blame, criticize or condemn you in any way! No matter how many mistakes you seem still to make—to quickly get up and try again is the fulfillment of the law for you. Remember! No one ever “fails” unless he wants to—for one can always get up one more time than he falls down!”

The name “Magdala,” in both Aramaic and in Hebrew, means “high place,” or “tower of God.” Saint Mary Magdalene's celebration in the Roman Catholic church became a feast day on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was given the title “apostle of the apostles” by Saint Thomas Aquinas, who also was initiated on mastering the sexual energies of the sacred fire. Family members desperate to block Thomas from joining the Dominican Order hired a prostitute to dissuade him from a life of celibacy. Thomas drove the prostitute away and fell into a mystical ecstasy. Two angels appeared to him as he slept and said, “Behold, we gird thee by the command of God with the girdle of chastity, which henceforth will never be imperiled. What human strength can not obtain, is now bestowed upon thee as a celestial gift.”

Throughout the Gnostic gospels, , we see how much love and reverence Jesus had for Mary Magdalene. We also see how much comprehension she had for his advanced teachings, and how she often outshone the other disciples. Peter, who had a bias against women in general, had an especially competitive reaction to Mary Magdalene, and was often irritated by the wisdom she displayed.

The fragments that we have of the Gospel of Mary indicate that Jesus shared profound mystical teachings with Mary Magdalene. We read of a gathering, most likely after the resurrection, where the disciples asked Jesus: “Teach us about the material world. Will it last forever or is everything impermanent?” The Savior answered: “All that is created, everything that is formed, every natural thing, all exist interdependently in and with each other. Then each will be dissolved again back into its own roots. It is the way of nature that everything will eventually decompose back into its own elements. Those who have ears, let them hear.”

Peter said to him: “While you are explaining everything to us, tell us one more thing: What is the sin of the world?” The Savior answered: “There is no such thing as sin, you only make it appear when you act according to the habits of your adulterated nature: that is how what you call 'sin' manifests. This is why the Good has come into your midst, pursuing the Good which is in everyone’s true nature, to restore it inward to its root.” Then he continued, saying: “This is what sickens and destroys you: it is your love for the things that deceive you. Those who have ears, let them hear. Whoever can understand, let them understand!”

“Attachment to matter gives rise to incomparable suffering, because it goes against your true nature. Then the whole body becomes disturbed. This is why I taught you to find contentment at the level of the heart. When you feel disturbed and out of balance, reclaim wholeness in the presence of all the different forms of your true nature. Those who have ears, let them hear.”

Saint Mary Magdalene by Domenichino

When the Blessed One had said these things, he embraced them all and took his leave, saying: “Peace be with you! Cultivate my peace within yourselves! Be vigilant, and don't let anyone lead you astray by saying 'Here it is' or 'There it is', for the Son of Man, the Child of Your True Humanity, already lives within each one of you. This is what you should follow! I tell you, those who seek this within will surely find it. Go then and proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom!”

“Do not lay down any rules other than what I have given you. Do not establish more laws like the lawmaker, or else you too will become constrained by them.” Once he had said these things, he departed from them.

Then Mary rose up. She embraced them all, kissing them tenderly and began to speak to her brothers and sisters: “There is no need to remain stuck in sorrow, grief, and doubt! For his Grace will be with you all; it will guide you, comfort you, shelter, and protect you. Rather, let us be thankful and praise his greatness, for he has brought us together and prepared us for this. Through him, we too can become fully human.”

Saying these things, Mary turned their hearts inward toward the Good, and they began to wrestle with the meaning of the Savior's words and to discuss his sayings. Then Peter said to Mary, “Sister, we know that you are greatly loved by the Savior, more than any other woman. Tell us those words of his that you remember, the things which you know and we don't, the teachings we never heard.”

Mary answered, saying: “What is hidden from you I shall reveal to you. Whatever is unknown to you, and I remember, I will tell you.”And she began saying these words to them. She said, “Once I saw the Lord in a vision and I said to him: 'Lord, Rabboni, now I see you in this vision.’ He answered me and said: ‘Blessed are you Mary, for you do not waver at the sight of me. How wonderful you are! For this is where the treasure lies in that place where heaven and earth meet, where deep understanding arises in the heart and mind, ‘the nous.’” (The “nous” refers to a spiritual faculty that is described as the “eye of the heart” or the “mind of the heart.” It is the heart intelligence that, in recent times, has been scientifically studied at the HeartMath Institute.)

I asked him this: ‘Now tell me Lord, how does a person see such a vision, is it through the agency of their soul or through the Spirit?’ The Savior answered: ‘It is neither through the soul nor through the Spirit, but through the understanding which arises between the two, that is how the vision is seen.’”

After saying these things Mary settled into silence, that place of sanctuary to which the Savior’s words had brought her. But Andrew responded and said to the brothers and sisters: “Tell me, what do you think about all that she has been telling us? Say what you will, but I for one don’t believe that the Savior would have said such things! Certainly, these are unorthodox teachings, it all seems quite different from his way of thinking.”

After some consideration, Peter responded in a similar way. He questioned the brothers about the Savior: “Did he really speak secretly with a woman and not openly so that we could all hear? Are we just going to turn around and listen to her? Did he really choose her and prefer her to us? Surely, he wouldn't have wanted to show that she is more worthy than we are?”

Then Mary wept. She said to Peter: “My brother, Peter, what are you thinking? Do you really believe that I made all this up, or that I would tell lies about our Savior?” Levi also responded to Peter, saying: “Peter, you have always been hot-tempered from the beginning, and now we see you arguing against this woman as though you were her adversary. Yet if the Savior deemed her worthy, indeed if he himself has made her worthy, then who are you to despise and reject her? Surely the Savior's appraisal of her is completely reliable. That is why he loved her more than us.

“Brothers, we should be ashamed of our behavior. Let us cloak ourselves with True Humanity. We too can follow his instructions and cultivate this in ourselves. Let us do as we were instructed and proclaim the good news the Savior taught,

never laying down any rules or laws beyond what he himself gave. After Levi had said these things, they started going out to teach and to proclaim the gospel.”

Mary Magdalene Kissing Feet of Christ
by Fra Angelico

That is the end of the Gospel of Mary. We can see from this writing why the Roman Catholic Church, in defense of Peter, hid this gospel from the faithful. It is also noteworthy that Jesus remonstrated Peter for his adulterated consciousness, and that in the years and centuries following, Mary Magdalene was labeled the adulteress.

The ascended master teachings give us a deeper definition of adultery. Sanat Kumara tells us that Jesus challenging the scribes and Pharisees who accuse the woman taken into adultery is a confrontation of Antichrist. Jesus, in his dictations, further explains that adultery is adulterating the pure concepts of God with human concepts. He says that Mary's accusers were themselves the adulterers of the light of the Mother, as they squandered that light in all of the seven planes of being through the misuse of the doctrine of the Universal One and the true light of Abraham.

The frustration of Peter with Mary Magdalene is also recorded in the Gnostic text, Pistis Sophia. Jesus is conversing with his disciples about deep and somewhat obtuse inner mysteries. Mary engages Jesus in dialogue through much of the text, until Peter objects: “My Lord, let the women cease their inquiries, so that we too can ask,” he says. Jesus then responds to Mary and the women, “Allow your male brethren the chance to ask questions.”

Peter's disdain for Mary, and for women in general, is also noted in the Gospel of Thomas. We read that Peter said to them, “Make Mary leave us, for females don't deserve life.” Jesus gives a surprising answer: “Look, I will guide her to make her male, so that she too, may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every female who makes herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven.”

We can better understand this statement from the perspective given to us by the teachings of the ascended masters. The masters teach that the soul is always female, and holds a negative polarity. The Christ—-our own Holy Christ Self—is always masculine and holds a positive polarity.

For permanent reunion with God, the soul must strive to put on her more and more of her Christhood. She strives to be the bride of Christ, and become one with Christ in the alchemical marriage. Wed to Christ, the soul can ascend home to God as an ascended master. Most ascended masters retain the gender identity of their last embodiment. Nevertheless, in the higher planes of heaven, the Spirit that separated into positive and negative polarities—from the Book of Genesis“male and female created he them”—-may become androgynous once more as the whirling Tai Chi of Alpha and Omega. Perhaps this is why in the East, for example, the Goddess Kuan Yin is also known in her male form as Avalokitesvara.

Jesus also spoke of the spiritual marriage of twin flames when he spoke of marriage. From the Gospel of Matthew: “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Jesus and Mary Magdalene according to the
Gospel of Philip

In the Gospel of Philip, Philip describes Mary Magdalene as the companion of Wisdom. “As for the Wisdom known as the barren, she is the mother of angels. Mary Magdalene was her companion, and Jesus loved her dearly, frequently kissing her mouth.” Wisdom or Sophia, was most precious to the Essene community and to the disciples. Sophia was the “salt,” Jesus referred to when he said, “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted?” Then, the disciples proclaim: “May our entire offering obtain salt.”

Medieval rendition of Mary Magdalene and Jesus

Mary Magdalene embodied the salt of the earth. In Pistis Sophia, she exhorts Jesus to have compassion and mercy on all souls. The savior, deeply moved by Mary's words, praised her, considering her blessed for her speech. “Lord,” she said, “You hold the key to open and close the doors of the universe, and your mystery encompasses all things. “Please have mercy on these souls who have called upon your mysteries, even if only for a single day. They have truly believed in these mysteries, and their faith is genuine, not mere pretense. Bestow your goodness upon them, granting them respite in your mercy.”

Other disciples questioned this affection, and Jesus replied: “Why do I not love you like her? When a blind person and someone with sight are both in the dark, they are the same. But when the light arrives, the sighted sees the light, while the blind remains in darkness.”

Mary Magdalene witnessed the crucifixion. She was also the first to “see” the resurrected Christ and recognize Jesus when he emerged from the tomb. From the Gospel of John: “Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been moved away from the tomb. Therefore, she ran to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him.”

“Then Peter and the other disciple set out and made their way toward the tomb. They both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He bent down and saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. When Simon Peter caught up with him, he entered the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, and also the cloth that had covered his head not lying with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place. Then the other disciple who had reached the tomb first also went inside, and he saw and believed. They still did not understand the Scripture indicating that he must rise from the dead. Then the disciples returned to their homes.

“Mary Magdalene remained weeping outside the tomb. And as she wept, she bent down to look into the tomb, and she saw two angels in white sitting there where the body of Jesus had been, one at the head and the other at the feet. They asked her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She answered, “They have taken my Lord away, and I do not know where they have put him.”

As she said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” Thinking he was the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have removed him, tell me where you have put him, and I will take him away.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!”(which means Teacher).

Jesus then said to her, “Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” Mary Magdalene then went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord,” and repeated what he had said to her. On the evening of that same day, the first day of the week, the doors of the house where the disciples had gathered were locked because of their fear of the Jews. Jesus then came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

Much speculation surrounds what happened to Mary Magdalene after the Resurrection of Christ. Some accounts relay that Mary went to Great Britain carrying the Holy Grail, and then went to the South of France. Others say the Holy Grail was actually Jesus' child. The book Holy Blood Holy Grail presents a complete thesis about how following the crucifixion, Mary sought refuge in southern France where Jesus’ bloodline, the true Sangreal of Arthurian legends—the sang real or “blood royal,” became the foundation of the French Merovingian dynasty of kings. Still others claim Mary and Jesus went back to Kashmir after the resurrection and had children there.

There is a strong cult and grotto devoted to Mary Magdalene in Sainte Baume, a village in the region of Languedoc in the South of France. Here believers assert that Mary Magdelene lived as a hermit for more than thirty years in contemplation. Even Sainte Thérèse of Lisieux mentions this in her writings!

Meanwhile the French mystical Cathars, who were greatly persecuted by the Roman Catholic Church, believed that Mary Magdalene was Jesus' wife. They believed and that Jesus and Mary Magdalene brought the original teachings of Christ to the South of France in the first century. These Gnostic teachings, so similar to the Essene teachings, evolved into Catharism.

At the time, the region was primarily Celtic, and there was also a devotion to Isis as a Divine Mother figure, that was later supplanted with the personage of Mary Magdalene. It is also said that Mary Magdalene baptized people in the River Sals at Rennes-les-Bains, at the Fontaine des Amours (the fountain of love) and Le Benitier (the baptismal font.)

Tomb of Mary Magdalene in Sainte Baume

The two accounts—one of penitent solitude and the other of missionary work with Jesus—are deeply divergent. The mystery compounds when we discover claims that Jesus had several children in Kashmir, and that some scholars believe Mary came from Kashmir. Ultimately, what all of this indicates is how much interest and belief there was in Jesus in so many parts of the world. Even the Mormons claim that he appeared after the Resurrection in the Americas. As the resurrected Christ, Jesus could have gone anywhere and taken Mary with him. What I do not believe, however, is that as embodied twin flames, he would have left her to go live out a physical existence and family life without her while she was still in embodiment somewhere else on earth.

The love of twin flames originates in the dawn of creation. Jesus and Mary Magdalene are spiritual polarities of each other and embody the Alpha and Omega principle of our Father-Mother God. Their divine mission together was, and is, inextricably linked. It is time to take Mary Magdalene down from the cross of shame, human condemnation and perpetual penitence that her soul has carried through the Piscean Age for much of the last two thousand years.

Grotto of Mary Magdalene in Sainte Baume

In a dictation delivered through the Summit Lighthouse, Jesus said: “My defense of the Divine Light of the Cosmic Virgin in my own twin flame is the celebration whereby every knight of the Holy Grail must go forth to defend that Feminine Ray in the Woman—in the spouse, in the child, and in his own soul. For if the feminine is not defended, then the feminine Light that is the raised fire of the Kundalini will not serve that knight in the hour of his ascension.”

Aimee Semple McPherson

The ascended masters explained that Mary Magdalene was last embodied as the evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson, who founded the radio broadcast Foursquare Church pentecostal movement in the 1920s and 30s and broadcast sermons from the Angelus Temple in Los Angeles. The Angelus Temple was the first “mega-church” all built on faith and donations. It was advertised as the largest single Christian congregation in the world and received 40 million visitors within the first seven years.

Aimee was a charismatic leader and a dramatic artist, who adopted cinematic methods and huge stage productions, and even created sacred operas, to avoid dreary church services. In one service, she drove to the altar on a motorcycle and and raised a hand to shout “Stop! You're speeding to Hell!” Aimee performed many healing miracles and her reputation as a faith healer grew as people came to her by the tens of thousands. People witnessed that visible cancers disappeared, the deaf could hear, the blind would see, and the disabled walked.

The ascended masters teach the Jesus was the one who was healing and performing miracles through her, and the two worked together for the salvation of souls, traveling the world. McPherson considered each faith healing incident a sacred gift from God, the glory of Jesus Christ, passed through her to persons healed and not to be taken for granted Aimee also led charity efforts, saying that “True Christianity is not only to be good but to do good.” She became active in creating soup kitchens, free clinics, and other charitable activities during the Great Depression, feeding an estimated 1.5 million people. It was said that her giving alleviated suffering on an epic scale.

Aimee published a magazine, Bridal Call, and wrote about her immense love for Jesus, and his love for her in return. ““As the Bride looked into His face, Jesus, the Bridegroom, was looking down and smiling upon her clad in her white robes with her misty veil floating about her. Oh, that look in His eyes, that tender expression upon His face. ‘Twas as though He were saying:

“Oh, my love, my dove, my undefiled, thou art fair; there is no spot in thee. Before you loved Me I loved you. Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love. I loved you when you were deep in sin; I loved you when you were far away. I loved you enough to leave My Father’s home to go forth to seek to save, to rescue, to draw you to Myself. I loved you so much that I died for you—I died to redeem you, and to fill you with My Spirit. Oh, my Bride, you have been faithful. Coming out of great tribulation you have washed your robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. You have endured hardness as a good soldier, and now through Me you are more than conqueror. How long, how long, I have waited for this day when you should be caught up unto my side.

“‘Oft have your feet been pierced with thorns, but here the streets are paved with gold. Oft the way was rugged and steep and your tears have flowed unbidden but now behold, the last enemy, even death, is conquered. Nevermore shall a shadow fall across your pathway nor a tear-drop dim your eye. Forever and forever you shall dwell with Me in the presence of My Father and the holy angels—My Bride, My Wife forevermore.’

Following this lifetime, Aimee made her ascension, but she had not yet balanced 100 percent of her karma. In a dictation entitled, “The Marriage of the Lamb Is Come,” Jesus announced that his beloved twin flame Magda, who ascended with 78 percent of her karma balanced, had finally balanced 100 percent of her karma on inner levels from the etheric plane.

Jesus dictated, “She said to me, 'They have taken away my Lord and I know not where they have laid him.' I say to you, they have taken away the heart of my beloved Magda. And no child of God to this hour has known where is the heart of Magda—where is the secret of the mystery of Christ-love, where is the mystery of the union of the disciple with her Lord, where is the foundation of Christendom that I have laid in the beginning.

“Lo, I AM come, Alpha and Omega in the beginning and in the ending. I therefore crown woman as the highest representative and as the symbolical Church. Therefore, let the pulpits be opened to woman and let the crown not be denied my daughter. I come, then, in the victory of the Holy City, and my beloved Magda stands with me. Will you not welcome her as my bride, for truly the marriage of the Lamb is come. My wife hath made herself ready. And it is given to her to wear fine linen, clean and white. Therefore I would speak to you of the wholeness of our Love. May you be seated in this circle of our oneness.

“We begin, then, at the beginning, as the final incarnation of Magda did bring to her the opportunity to be my instrument, and indeed she was. And no one could stop her, for we were one in that ministry. And the healings brought to this century my ministry in Galilee and the opportunity for the world to forgive woman of her sin and of the adultery of which Magda had been accused.

The Ascension of Mary Magdalene by Jose Claudio Antonilez

“Therefore two thousand years ago she was prepared as my disciple for this final opportunity to come when I could work through my beloved twin flame; and she as my presence physically in the earth could bind many hearts to the Lord. Our mission, then, in this century was to once again bring to the feet of their Holy Christ Self the souls of Light who would listen and hear. Thus, they remember her as the one who brought them to the Lord, to my heart, that I might bring them closer to the day of their souls’ fusion with the Christ presence.

“Some received the reigniting of the threefold flame. Thousands received the healing of body. Yet this was no mere faith cure. For it was I in her and she in me, and we did stand for our final testament of the Piscean age. Calling her magazine Bridal Call, she waited for my call throughout that life. And she used all the means available, truly legitimate means, to draw souls to that altar that I might reach out and touch them through her. And I did promise her, beloved, that I would indeed heal through her.”

Magda responded to Jesus in another dictation: “For I AM the one, Magda, who acclaimed him Rabboni in the hour of his emergence from the tomb. Jesus has likened me and my experience, known to all, as the archetype of the soul of America, the collective soul of Israel, and of the descent of the seed of Light.

“The necessity for the purging of this soul is upon us, my beloved. And therefore, Our Lord sent me in my final incarnation from Canada in the north through a long route whereupon I finally arrived, as you have, in the City of the Angels to preach his Word and to be the instrument of his most Holy Spirit in the miracles and the healings he performed.

“My beloved, this era of my life that has passed, its very manifestation, was greatly opposed. People remember me as Aimee Semple McPherson. But, precious ones, those who saw me or believed in the works of God in my presence truly saw the One who sent me. I knew myself then and now as his bride, as the soul merging with the inner Light. And so, this victory of the feminine ray is a sign that God has ordained this nation as the place of the victory of the soul. And the one out of whom he cast seven devils is the first to see him.

Magda also shared the importance of giving the violet flame in several dictations. The violet flame is a ray or frequency of the Holy Spirit just beyond the light spectrum that our eyes can see. When we give spoken prayers and mantras that call forth the violet flame, our auras become filled with that light. Angels of the violet flame help us more quickly transmute the karmas of our past misdeeds, and every “jot and tittle” from this or previous lifetimes.

The violet flame was first introduced to students in America in the 1930s through the ministry of the I AM Movement, and Guy and Edna Ballard. These two messengers, who are now the ascended twin flames Godfre and Lotus, imparted the teachings of the violet flame as a dispensation of soul liberation and spiritual freedom for the Aquarian Age, from the heart of the ascended master Saint Germain.

Magda said, “ With all that I had of Jesus’ love and all of the service I gave throughout the world (even traveling by ship to Australia and to the far corners of the earth), when I passed from the screen of life, I still had my karma to deal with. And then it was that I saw and understood and accepted the violet flame. But for many decades I had to apply the violet flame, not only to my immediate past life but to many prior lifetimes. And this was simply because I was never given the knowledge of the violet flame when I was embodied. The clergy of Christianity, both Protestant and Catholic, never accepted Saint Germain or his gift of the violet flame and therefore they never taught it.

“Do you realize that I served in the Angelus Temple in Los Angeles at the same time that Guy and Mama Ballard were also preaching and giving the teachings of the violet flame? How tragic it is that so many have become locked in to orthodoxy so that they cannot open their minds and see the shafts of violet flame that permeated the auras of the saints who came out of the I AM movement and made their ascensions precisely because they accepted Saint Germain’s violet flame.

Thus, I will say it again and again! How wondrous it is to invoke the violet flame while you are here on earth. How wondrous it is that you can project the violet flame into the distant past and the distant future. How wondrous it is that the violet flame has saved so many souls, that it has lightened their load and brought them to that place where they could make their ascensions.

“This could never have happened, nor could it be an option for you today, if Saint Germain and Godfre and Lotus had not been willing to bear the utter persecution, the trial, the lies in the newspapers regarding the I AM movement. You have also been persecuted in your time, but those days of the I AM movement were horrific and without parallel.

Aimee Semple Mc Pherson as a child

“Nonetheless, through those many years of service, I was the perpetual instrument of Jesus’ healing. I was there for Jesus’ flock and I comforted them with his words: Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. And they left behind their crutches and I often bore the weight of those crutches in my own body. For I did not realize that for the asking Saint Germain’s all-consuming violet singing flame could and would transform that weight into a burden of light.

“Thus, in my final incarnation I knew great sorrow even as I knew great rejoicing in the perpetual joy of my Savior. I tell you these things, beloved, because when you become a saint in heaven, you will also know the fullness of the joy of your Savior. For a saint in heaven is someone who has internalized their threefold flame and their Christhood.

“I AM Magda and I tell you that many beautiful souls who have passed from the screen of life are now with me. And I give them training as Jesus so instructs me. Indeed, I have given training to many at inner levels. And I instruct those who have newly entered the etheric octave, those who have come out of the Pentecostal churches, even the Foursquare Gospel church that I founded. And even up to today their burden is so great that they, alas, did not have the Teachings of the Ascended Masters when it counted for much and would have aided them in their ascent to God when the time came.

“And we would weep with them, beloved. For by not invoking the violet flame, they missed an opportunity to make their ascension. For the violet flame was offered to them, but it was accepted only by those who became the I AM students.

“Thus, some became distraught. Some became angry. Some sank into oblivion for a time. For they had believed, as their pastors had told them, that they would make their ascension as long as they walked the path that was shown to them. Yet they were misled. And therefore a very high percentage of these beautiful and wondrous souls must come back again to balance their karma.

“We do not send them back without teaching them about the violet flame and the I AM Presence and the experiences of Godfre and Lotus. No, beloved, we send them back equipped, and we even supply them with a road map to be sure they will find someone who has heard of the violet flame and Saint Germain and the Teachings of the Ascended Masters.

“Now that group of souls is reincarnating. Some return with joy, for they have captured the joy of the violet flame and they have believed in it. Others return as cynics. They come back angry. And they say, We have been cheated! And, of course, those of us who train them urge them to let go of their resentment and to know how glorious is their opportunity to have their victory in this life.

“Many souls in the orthodox churches will not make their ascensions and will have to come back, whereas a greater percentage of those from the I AM movement will make their ascensions. What does this point to, beloved? It tells us that when people pass from the screen of life without having invoked the violet flame, they may be looking to reincarnating again to fulfill their reason for being.”

Speaking of Jesus, Magda says, “Cherish his presence within you. Please do not offend him. And if you ask Jesus to be your Guru, be prepared. For he will start you gently on the Path, and then he will intensify and intensify that path of initiation until you wonder if you can stand in the presence of the Prince of Peace any longer.

“Therefore, some of you will find that you must go out from the presence of the Lord for a time and use the violet flame to smooth the rough edges. Perform your service, balance chunks of your karma and seek the Lord again and again as you embrace the next step and the next.

“Life’s victory isn’t won in a moment, as I think you realize. Many of you recall personal experiences in ancient civilizations and therefore you know that the Path is a process. Obey the rules and you will get there quickly. When you do not obey them, though you might be the best of the Lord’s servants, you will have to go back down the stairs again and again. And if your life span runs out, then what will you do if you haven’t balanced that 51 percent of your karma?

“Well, you will be back, beloved. That is the Law. And the Law is the Law. You will return, starting as a child in the womb all over again.”

There are many mantras and decrees to the violet flame published through the I AM Movement and the Summit Lighthouse. You can also find out more about the violet flame on my website, www.violetflamemiracles.com and in the booklet I wrote called The Miracle Violet Flame.

In another dictation, “Transmute the Past and the Future,” Magda reminded us again: “You have the violet flame at your disposal, beloved. I should only tell you that if you were out of embodiment this day at inner levels, not having completed the balancing of your karma, you yourself would weep tears of lamentation that you took for granted so great an opportunity as the violet flame itself. You would weep that you did not give to your violet flame decrees every extra moment you had while in embodiment—every extra moment that you might have spent in idle chatter and conversation that benefited no one, that whiled away the hours and that squandered energy. Yes, you would weep that you had allowed this in the place of immediately getting out a violet flame tape and giving two minutes, five minutes, twelve minutes, twenty-four minutes of violet flame decrees.”

The Penitent Magdalene by Guido Reni

Jesus, together with his beloved Magda, give us the final lesson on the love of twin flames and remind all of us that the goal of life is the ritual of the ascension, which will restore us to permanent reunion with our twin flame. This requires forsaking all misuses of the sexual energies that are from God—raising the sacred fire from the base-of-the-spine to the crown chakra on the spinal altar of being. In another dictation, “Born Free to Love,” Jesus tells us: “Do not squander the Light. Do not be caught and mesmerized by Western civilization or the serpents that come in the East.

“Do not be mesmerized with their pleasure cult and their indulgences, but pursue the God-mastery of the Mother Light and know that it is the power raised up in the temple that will produce the maximum Light and the Divine Wholeness that can hold the balance in the earth.

“In the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and the Mother, I send forth Light! We send forth Light! We bid you to rise and greet the day dawning of your own twin flame and to feel that resurrection, being caught up in the rapture of the Bridegroom. For this is a very individual and unique experience. And yet, beloved ones, there does come the hour prophesied even by Saint Germain of the mass ascensions from the hillsides of the world.

“Think you not that this sounds like the resurrection unto which all Christians believe in this hour? I tell you, there is a rapture, for when the resurrection flame passes through you, beloved, it is a rapturous moment. And there are few words in the languages of men that can describe the bliss of feeling all of your atoms and cells and molecules accelerated by the pure power of the resurrection flame which is brought by Uriel the archangel.

“Thus understand, beloved, that the proscribing of the Christian mysteries and the Light descending and all that was achieved through the Church of Rome is the anti-Christ principle that has denied my Mission and has misunderstood the resurrection and has kept woman subject in abject sin—even though Magdalene is forgiven, though she is washed clean in the seven chakras by the Christ.

Do not be mesmerized with their pleasure cult and their indulgences, but pursue the God-mastery of the Mother Light and know that it is the power raised up in the temple that will produce the maximum Light and the Divine Wholeness that can hold the balance in the earth.”

The teachings of the ascended masters reveal that each child of God and ascended being has a keynote, a special melody or song that ties into the soul and our divine plan. I would like to seal this chapter with the keynote of beloved Magda, “Amazing Grace.”

Amazing grace, How sweet the sound
That saved a soul like me.
I once was lost, but now I am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come,
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease
I shall possess within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we've first begun.
